On the morning of March 17, 2017 at the Event Room, 1st Floor, JW Marriot Hotel Hanoi took place 15th Annual Meeting of Shareholders of AIC Group. The whole delegation was full at 8am. After the opening remarks, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of AIC, delivered a presentation on the 3-year preliminary results of the first phase of the AIC4D 2014-2024 development strategy. The report highlighted the achievements that have been made, the difficulties that need to be overcome and some directions for the coming period.
This is followed by a summary report on business performance in 2016 and the plan for 2017 of AIC Group by Mr. Vu Minh Tien presenting and reporting on the control work of Ms. Nguyen Minh Thuy.
After the break the delegates listened to Nguyen Thi Diem Phuong, Pham Thanh Binh, Dam Y Linh, Nguyen Manh Cuong, presented on the performance of member units, summarize the activities of AIC Sales Club led by Tran Viet Hoa club. The conference continued with enthusiastic discussions and contributions from delegates. Ms. Le Thanh Huong represents external shareholders who have contributed their ideas on reports and plans, She also appreciated the achievements of the Group during the period 2014-2016.
The conference approved the contents of the final report including:
· Expected dividend payout in 2016 is over 30%
· Phase 1 review report implementation of AIC4D strategy (focus period 2014-2016).
· Continuing to restructure the Group Joint Stock Company, ensuring the company continues to develop steadily, building up the human resources department under the development strategy until 2024, promoting the development of new products and services and building more reliable foreign strategic partners.
· Consolidate the company’s organization and management, AKB’s new leadership structure to create breakthroughs for the period 2017-2020.
· Established joint venture company abroad.
· Proposals on asset liquidation of the BOD.
· Complete business management model of BOSCH.
All shareholders voted 100% to approve the resolutions of the meeting
In the afternoon session, the conference of implementing business plan of AIC Group took place from 13h30 to 18h00. Representatives of key staff and business officers from all member units of the Group are present.
In the beginning, the conference heard reports of the Board on summarizing the Group’s three-year activities in 2014-2016. The report goes deep into the business results of its member companies in 2016, the trend of the Group’s 2017 plan and the presentations of representatives of companies. A report dedicated to financial management in 2017.
Members at the conference, after reviewing, discussing and commenting together and have agreed some key targets for 2017 on revenue and profit of the Group and its affiliates by 2017. The push plan strongly dealing in new products: CCTV (Bosch, Axis, Honeywel, Afidus), Belden Cable, Hirschmann Industrial Equipment, Allied Telesis, Lutron, Televic, Honeywel, Lutron. IT infrastructure such as: Hirschmann industrial equipment, Allied Telesis network, Belden cables and accessories. Warranty service, maintenance of electronic equipment building system, IT, conference equipment rental, …. Build up the project to buy and merge companies in the field of IT, lighting.
Support the AKB company on managing personnel, stabilizing the software export market and processing data, ensuring stable operation of AKB to achieve the 2017 profit plan.
